Dishwasher Safe Mobile Phone Announced

I personally have never dropped my mobile phone into the toilet, bath.  That's not to say I wouldn't but I am extremely careful about brining my phone near water.  Wouldn't it be cool if someone came up with a water proof mobile phone.  47% of all mobile phones that are water damaged, its usually because of a dive into the toilet.

Well here it is, the world’s first dishwasher safe mobile phone has been announced by Seal Shield.  The New Seal Cell mobile phone is washable and antimicrobial; it is easy to clean in a sink or a dishwasher, which can help prevent the spread of germs, viruses and bacteria.

The mobile phone has been created by the healthcare company Seal Shield creators of other dishwasher safe products such as keyboards, mice and TV remote controls in response to help reduce the risk of cross contaminations including H1N1, Norovirus and MRSA. As well using the Seal Shield waterproof technology, the phone is also combined with Silver Seal technology for antimicrobial protection.

The Seal Cell mobile phone is not just a basic phone which is washable; the phone has quite a good specification sheet with a 2.0MP camera with video and torch light, MMS messaging, background noise elimination, walkie-talkie function, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Seal Cell phone is scheduled to begin shipping in the early part of this year, pricing information and network provider information has not yet been released. Source
