Mobile Phones Were Invented In 1909

Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) during a long life time he was a pioneer scientist, known for his design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system.  He was also a physicist, inventor, futurist and a mechanical and electric engineer.  Who was known to possess a photographic memory.  He could speak eight languages and by the time of his death, he held over 300 patents.

And in 1926, he basically predicted the modern smartphone.

Tesla states in the New York Times of 1909 that; “It will soon be possible, for instance, for a business man in New York to dictate instructions and have them appear in type in London or elsewhere.  He will be able to call from his desk and talk with any telephone subscriber in the world.  It will only be necessary to carry an inexpensive instrument no bigger than a watch, which will enable its bearer to hear anywhere on sea or land for distances of thousands of miles.”
