It’s the summer and it’s about now you should be dusting off your running shoes. There’s nothing like giving your heart, body and mind a workout and here’s just the app to help you do that.
5k Runner is an iPhone programme that takes you through a 5k (3.1 miles) run, 3 times a week over an 8 week period. Arming you with an audio coach, it lets you know when to run, when to walk, how to warm-up and how to cool down. The programme gradually builds up your stamina over the 8 weeks, so that by the end of it you’ll be able to do the 5k in one straight run.
