A Green Mobile For Kids...

Whether you think your off-spring should have a mobile phone or not is up to you.  But designers are equally concerned that phones for kids should be just as green as their adult counterparts.

And the

‘Peppy phone’

is a

green mobile phone

just for children using the latest principles of eco-design.  It’s made from recyclable materials.  Designed like a watch, the phone sits nicely on their wrist.  How is it powered?  This handset uses kinetic energy to charge it up there are no batteries so all their playing around, arms moving etc will be charging it up…for FREE.  Plus, there are no welds in its construction so it’s easy to assemble, knowing how kids are I don’t know how good that last part is.  If its easy to put together, how easy can it be to take apart?  I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it...
