The CBK Pension Towers have just been opened in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi to critical acclaim over its beautiful aesthetics and green features.

After four years of work, the beautiful Central Bank of Kenya Pension Towers, also known as the CBK Pension Towers, were opened by Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday.

This amazing building was designed by kenyan architets and brings to life the feeling of there being two buildings joined as one, looking in opposite directions thanks to the soft curves the architects chose.

CBK chairman Dominic Mwenja revealed at the opening that the towers leaning in the opposite direction represent two retired individuals facing opposite directions with the Pension Towers, Pension Fund, and the CBK in between as the anchor and support of the retirees.

Green Credentials

There’s no reason why modern buildings can’t have the best green facilities and the CBK Pension Towers delivers.

CBK Pension Towers has 2 500kva synchronised generators with a sync panel designed and assembled using Comap controllers. Additionally, the generators are set for load sharing and load shedding.

A 30kw hybrid solar systems were added for the benefit of providing energy for common areas. Those common areas also include smart meters. To top it all off, there is a 1000kva voltage stabilizer for the entire building.
